Searching for a psychologist?

Many people come to me after searching for a psychologist, or after spending years in counselling or therapy. And I want to say this clearly — psychologists and counsellors play an important role, and for many people, therapy is exactly what’s needed.

But I often hear this sentence:
“I’ve been to a psychologist… and I’m wanting something different.”

For many clients, it’s not that they haven’t done the work. They’ve gained a lot of awareness. They’ve spoken about their experiences. They understand why they feel the way they do. Yet despite all that insight, they feel stuck — living in their head, revisiting the same patterns, and not experiencing lasting change in daily life.

Awareness is valuable, but awareness alone doesn’t always create change.

This is where life coaching can offer a different avenue.

My life coaching focuses on getting to the root cause of what’s really going on beneath the patterns. We listen closely to your inner world — what it’s communicating, what it needs, and how it’s trying to protect you. From there, we integrate this understanding in a way that supports lasting change, not just temporary relief.

Clients often feel shifts within sessions because the work isn’t about staying in the story — it’s about meeting what’s underneath and allowing it to move, settle, and integrate. That’s what creates real change beyond the session itself.

One client described it beautifully after six weeks of life coaching, following 16 years with counsellors and psychologists:

“Anna wins hands down. Professional, to the point and results driven based upon your own custom goals. Everything I needed.”

If you’re searching for a psychologist and feel like you’d like to try something different, life coaching may be the support that resonates where other approaches haven’t.

You don’t need fixing. You may just need a different kind of support.
